The Legendary Electro/Miami Bass Artist DJ Matrix Returns

About

DJ Matrix, born Demetrius Ford, began his music journey in 1986 with the single "It’s Time to Rock." After serving in the Navy, he established Bad Boy Records and released "Feel My Bass" in 1988. Following a hiatus, he transitioned to a successful career in finance. In 2024, DJ Matrix returned to music, reconnecting with his fans. In August of 2025, he released his comeback single "Hypnotic", which features the legendary Egyptian Lover. Due to overwhelming requests from fans for DJ Matrix to release a Feel My Bass remake, "Feel My Bass (Reloaded)" was released on March 22 of this year. In an effort to continue to cater to the tastes of his existing and loyal fan base, while also giving himself the creative flexibility to explore and experiment with other, more modern genres, Matrix created another alias, "House Of Neo", to produce and release House and Dubstep tracks. House Of Neo's debut single, "Drift Away" was released on June 5 of this year.
