Indie artist with major label sound
About
John Grenn is an OIART-trained Canadian music producer, songwriter, and sound designer based in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Bringing over 25 years of industry experience to every project, John blends vintage audio fundamentals with a high-output workflow to craft pristine, radio-friendly tracks across Pop, EDM, Country, House, and Latin genres. His commercial career took off in the mid-1990s with Euro-Dance hitmakers Yakoo Boyz/YBZ, securing radio chart success—including the hockey anthem "Pipe Dreams"—and delivering official remixes for artists like Whigfield and Duane Eddy. Beyond traditional record production, John spent a decade (2007–2017) as a senior sound designer and audio engineer at BlackBerry, holding multiple patents and creating signature luxury audio suites. Today, John operates behind the scenes, prioritizing pure allegiance to the music. With over 30 commercial releases dating back to 1995 and dozens of modern radio-ready tracks, he delivers the sonic clarity and precision modern artists need to stand out.
