Danielle Nicholls is an accomplished singer-songwriter known for her acoustic and laid-back musical style. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, and Burt Bacharach, Danielle's music features intricate layers of harmonies and rich acoustic guitar work.
Her professional journey began at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, followed by training in movement at the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance in London. It was during this time that her passion for authentic songwriting emerged, leading her to embrace her true self in her art.
With a career spanning over three decades, Danielle has produced several albums and EPs, including the critically acclaimed "Breathe," produced by Al Steele, and the EP "Beautiful Thoughts," produced by Jon Wright. She leads the Danielle Nicholls Band while also touring with The Korgis, known for their classic hit "Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime."
In addition to her music career, Danielle is a regular contributor to the Singles Heritage Chart and practices yoga, showcasing her diverse interests and talents.
